Hello, We have two new boer baby buck kids on the bottle right now unfortunately we lost their mom in delivery of the kids. I was wondering how early we should introduce them to feed and what type of feed do you recommend?
Thank You,
Marcy

| We put out our billy the kid feed out for the lambs when they are a week of age. They will nibble on it then and then really get going in a couple weeks.

| I have not heard of billy the kid feed. Is it a highnoon feed? My vet also suggested calf mana. Have you used it for newborn goat kids?

| Billy the kid is a highnoon product. Calf manna is a supplement not a complete feed. I personally would not feed it as a complete feed.

Thank you very much for all your advice. I really appreciate it. I went and got the high noon billy the kid perfect start this evening. I have fed it to all of our show weathers for the past three years. I just had not heard it called billy the kid before. We have won reserve grand champion weather 2 out of three years at our fair feeding perfect start. Our fair is Darke County Fair. It really is a great product.
Thanks Again, Marcy
