| Reading other posts "cover" was referred to. What exactly is that? Neither of us adults raised pigs growing up, and now as "city-slickers" we have found that hogs are the eaisest of the main show animals to have our kids in, so we (It's our second year) have a lot to learn. Also any suggestions on the various High Noon supplements would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! This is our first year using High Noon and we are very encouraged, but still want to keep learning.

What people refer to as cover is finish. We want the pigs to be smooth covered down their sides with NO ribs showing. Today the industry wants pigs with more finish, which is a good thing. We still want them to look like athletes but with a little more cover. If their ribs are showing then I would recommend our full bloom product. It is a 30 % fat supplement that will help add cover and bloom to the pigs. We feed anywere from 1 to 2 lbs per head per day.

| Thanks Nick. We are using Full Bloom on two of them and High Glo on the other. Have another problem though. We have three pigs in a common pen and they have always used a self-feeder. We need to really back one off, and push the other two. My question is: Can we expect to feed the pigs their daily ration and supplements at one serving and expect them to finish? Tonight they ate for a while and then began to get more interested in tipping pans over and seeing what their neighbor was getting (Love those personalities...sigh). We finally pulled all of the pans away. Will hunger eventually get them to "clean their plates" or is that physiologically impossible? Do we need to go out and feed twice a day? Penning them seperately is not really a possibility at this point in time. Again any help you can provide will be very much appreciated!!! I hope we are not being too much of a bother!

What we do is feed 2 times a day. If you split the feed up inb half they should eat it very well. If you need to back them down alittle because of the change in environment then that is fine. In a couple days they will get acclimated and get going.

| That has worked a LOT better...THANKS. We wiegh again tomorrow and will adjust their rations accordingly. I noticed on another post that you suggested feeding High Glo AND Full bloom. They seem to almost opposite. One being very high fat and the other high protein. We are using both, but not on the same hogs. We are using High Glo on the ones that look a little too fat, and Full bloom on the leaner looking ones. Are we OK doing that? Are they designed to be used together? Do you REPLACE the same amount of food that you are giving in supplements or do you just ADD the supplements to their food? Is Clean Expression good for all hogs, or are there some that it would not benefit? We plan to use it the last two weeks before our fair. Thanks for all of your help and for having such great products.

You are cottect on the topdresses being opposite of each other. You are using them correct. What you will see once you know have figured them out is that if you use the 2 together at the right amount that that they will help both help add muscle and bloom. Keep in mind that everything is in balance and your eyes have got to make the adjustments when needed. That is what is great out having products like these.
You need to take out the same omount of product that you add of a different product to keep the same intake. That is why you need to weigh once a week to see your gain.
On the clean xpression it is designed to clean up the neck and jowel area if the pigs are fatty in that area. We use it the last couple weeks if needed!
Thanks for all the kind words!!
