Hello,

We have been feeding High Noon for the last two years and think that it has done a great job on our lambs. This spring we seem to be having a problem with the lambs getting overly fat and a real squishy feeling to them - not great for sales as I'm sure you can imagine! We are currently feeding Max Start 90 pellets and Shine Em Up at a 2 to 1 ratio (we put two buckets pellets and one bucket shine em up in the feed mixer). I think that we may be mixing the shine em up a little to strong, but I wanted to get a second opinion before I changed it. Is there any way to get the fat lambs handling a little harder before the next sale? Thanks!

You are EXACTLY right. You are feeding way to much shine em up. Shine em up is designed to put on condition. If the lambs are to fat then take it out completely. The max 90 will put on a nice bloom and keep them firm to the touch. If they are a little raw then add 25 % shine em up.
